Arlo Gibson has been working in film, television and theatre professionally for the last eight years. Graduating from the Actors Program in 2012 he went on to feature in a number of South Pacific Pictures productions including ‘Step Dave’ and ‘Shortland Street’. He also played Chris Sheehan in Great Southern’s telefeature ‘The Exponents, Why Does Love?’

In 2015 Arlo travelled to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival to perform in the sellout season of ‘The Generation of Z’ which he also helped to devise. Arlo has produced, created and starred in a number of productions under his theatre company Thank You Real Good Party Time Ltd including ‘Thomas’, ‘Skyloving’ and ‘Non Flower Elements’.

His recent theatrical credits include a development workshop with Red Leap and The New Zealand Dance Company, ‘Cult Show’ directed by Nisha Madden, and ‘Mammoth’ by Tallulah Holly Massey.

Arlo also features as Gaz in Tim van Dammen’s sophomore feature ‘Mega Time Squad’, and Erik in ‘Sail Away’. Both premiered in the NZFF 2018.
